Great Atmosphere & Friendly Staff

Last night in Cairns went to Cock & Bull for a meal. The meals were absolutely huge. We had a variety, steak & kidney with mash and veg (really delicious) steaks and kangaroo and crocodile all really big and very good. Two children's meals were also ordered and they to were excellent.

A very funky restaurant that is popular with young people. The meals are huge yet cheap - this is a great venue for special occasions or if you want a group dinner before a night on the town.

The Cock & Bull is pub grub at it's very best! My in laws visit here every time they are in town and when we went to visit we had the pleasure of having lunch here as well.

The meals are of a very high quality, the service is excellent, the value is AMAZING!! It's a must visit if your in Cairns.

Can't get much better than this, great value, stomach busting big tasty meals. Highly recommended.

The portions for food items are quite large. We ordered two meals and there was enough food for the three of us. The food tasted great and was priced quite good for those on a budget. The restaurant was quite busy but we didn't wait long for our food to be ready.

Quite a place! We had the Kangaroo Fillet and the Crocodile Schnitzel. Both were excellent. The big surprise for me was the crocodile. I've had alligator in Florida and crocodile in Zimbabwe and Kenya and quite truthfully none of it was very tasty. But this Crocodile Schnitzel was absolutely delicious. No kidding.

Had lunch here, Kanga & Croc bangers and the fish, and it's was great. Well priced and plenty of food which was good quality. Highly recommend a try if in Cairns.

Ask any local in Cairns for a great, value place to eat and most will say "Cock and Bull". The pub is clean and quite quirky sporting a Marlin fishing theme. Most popular beers are available on tap. The choices on the menus are many and varied. You can choose from the char grill for a really great steak or try some home style cooking. The portions are huge and delicious. Waiting times are surprisingly low considering how busy the place gets. I would recommend this place to groups and families. Contradictory to another reviewer, the toilets are to the left of the building past the pool table, nowhere near the pokies! Live bands most nights. A really great night out.
